** Dean Preston Ranks Low on Closing the Gender Gap
------------------------------------------------------------
Hi John,

This November is a critical election.

Reproductive rights and bodily autonomy are on the ballot. Advocating for these positions is critical to the future of our city, and it starts with supporting and uplifting women who choose to run for office to serve our communities.

Yet, according to a new report from Politico ([link removed]) , some of our elected leaders are failing to close the gender gap in politics — mainly, our opponent Dean Preston ([link removed]) .

Of all elected officials surveyed in the city, Dean ranked in the bottom quartile of those who have supported women candidates...

What's worse?

When asked about his abysmal support to women candidates, he declined to comment.

Let's look at the record he's scared to face.

Dean's support since 2018:
* Of his political endorsements only 35% were for women

* Of his political donations only 32% were for women

It's no wonder leading women advocacy groups are concerned.
San Francisco needs leadership that will proudly and unequivocally advocate for women's rights, reproductive rights, and closing the gender gap.

Our campaign is honored to be endorsed by the San Francisco Women's Political Committee and Planned Parenthood Northern California Action Fund.

This weekend we'll be joined by these groups in support of our candidacy and Prop O.

Join us this Sunday for our mobilization to get out the vote! ([link removed])
