But we all have one thing in common: our belief that every American deserves access to a college education that prepares them for a successful and fulfilling life.

In the latest report of our UNCF Perceptions Research Series, “Hear Us, Believe Us: Centering African American Parent Voices in K-12 Education,” our findings challenged assumptions about African American educational apathy and engagement as we lay the foundation for a better educational landscape rooted in equity and justice.
Nearly 50% of Black parents could not name, unaided, organizations that could support their children in receiving a high-quality education.
As a new member of this diverse community, we know you're just as committed as we are to connecting parents with organizations providing college preparation resources, including financial literacy, that will help increase graduation and college enrollment rates.
That's why your input is incredibly valuable as we plan our future as an organization. Your input can help determine where and how we fundraise and allocate resources, which programs and services we expand and how we leverage our partnerships with HBCUs and other organizations.
