President Biden has proposed vital arms sales to our ally Israel that will help ensure the Jewish state has the resources it needs to defend itself against Iran and the regime’s terrorist proxies.
However, Sen. Bernie Sanders is leading an effort to block these sales, undermining our ally’s ability to defend itself.
As Israel continues to work to drive Hamas from power in Gaza, it faces an escalating threat on its northern border from Hezbollah and growing terrorism in the West Bank. At the same time, the Iranian regime continues to fund terrorism around the region and advance its nuclear program.
America must ensure Israel has the offensive and defensive weapons needed to deter, defend against, and confront Hezbollah and Iran's other terror proxies. These arms sales are essential to ensuring Israel’s security.
