John, in last week’s presidential debate, there wasn’t a single question answered about the skyrocketing costs of care. 

Every day families across the country struggle with the weight of rising costs to care for our loved ones. With little to no support from our elected leaders, the cost of child care, aging care, and disability care continues to soar. 

We know this issue can’t be ignored any longer. That’s why we’re going to present them with something they can’t ignore: the receipts. We're asking you to share your care costs – the hard numbers that reveal just how expensive it is to care for our families.

In the upcoming Vice Presidential Debate, care should be front and center. With your help, we can make sure this issue is impossible to ignore. Whether it's the price of daycare, the loss of income from unpaid leave, or the costs of in-home care for aging loved ones, every dollar adds up.

Families are spending thousands each year, often sacrificing other basic needs just to make ends meet. And while we've heard promises of paid leave and affordable care, we're still waiting. This issue is putting immense pressure on families, especially women, low-income households, and people of color.
