From turkey to deer and beyond, learn how you can source sustainable food, explore the Maine landscape, connect with nature, challenge yourself, and so much more! The Fall wild turkey hunting season is in full swing! Wild turkey hunting is an interactive and engaging activity offering good opportunities for new hunters to quickly gain hunting experience, while also presenting ample challenge to keep experienced hunters on their toes. This workshop will help prepare you for this exhilarating hunt with hands on demonstration and practice. You will learn turkey habits and habitats, hunting tactics and equipment, shot placement, retrieval and processing, and more!
