Folks,
Do you remember back in July when I emailed you about the debate we should’ve been having, if my opponent hadn’t refused? Well, that Virginia Bar Association debate isn’t the only campaigning my opponent has ducked.
As is tradition, when I became the Democratic nominee for Senate I gladly accepted three invitations for debates in different regions of the Commonwealth. So far, two of those have come and gone…no Hung Cao.
So what is my opponent up to, if he’s not out on the campaign trail and not participating in debates or forums?
Well I know one way he’s spending his time. Just last night, he was rubbing elbows with GOP donors at a fundraiser for JD Vance in Washington, DC!

Here’s Hung Cao’s take on our Commonwealth: It’s “ridonkulous” for him to drive as far as Abingdon, the local newspaper in Staunton is “podunk,” and anything South of Loudoun and Fairfax Counties is “Southern Virginia.”
Here’s mine: To listen to my constituents’ thoughts and concerns, and to work across the aisle to solve the problems that keep us up at night, is my greatest honor. I love Virginia and the people who call it home, and I’m grateful for the chance to represent you.
The stakes are really high this November — and the fact is, Democrats are the underdogs in this election. So I’m asking for your help to make sure I defeat my opponent and win re-election:
