Hi, John.As a musician, I’ve had the opportunity to travel across the world, but there’s nowhere I love more than North Carolina.

I’m proud to be from here. I took my first steps in Winston-Salem, met the mentor who would change my life in Greensboro, and started Ben Folds Five in Chapel Hill. To me, North Carolina has always been a beautiful state home to good-hearted folks.

But the North Carolina I know and love is being threatened by far-right extremists like Mark Robinson.
