We will never forget the Vols' amazing win over Alabama!

Here's to you, Tennessee Vols

I can hardly believe that Ben and I have been going to UT Football games for 23 years! Our first game was back in 2001, just a few months after we moved to Knoxville. Our oldest daughter Dahlia, at just 3 months old, came along -- no ticket required!

We had been to a few college games in Ann Arbor when Ben was in law school, but right away we could tell that Neyland Stadium was next level!

That year, the Vols ranked in the top 10, won the SEC championship and beat Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. Ben was ready to buy season tickets! But, as a single-income family with a toddler and another child on the way, I said, Nope, too expensive.

Fast-forward to 2003 and -- without bothering to ask again -- Ben went ahead and purchased a pair of season tickets. It was a great move! UT Football has been a wonderful part of our fall Saturdays ever since.

This weekend, as the team travels to Oklahoma, my family will be cheering them on from home. Rest assured, you'll find us backing the Vols and Lady Vols athletics year round! Go Vols!

Very truly yours,

Finding two extra tickets was easier 15 years ago... and cheaper than babysitters.

All-weather Vol fans.
