3X the Gift. 3X the impact.

It's almost #GivingTuesdayNow: don’t miss the chance to triple your impact!
Friend,
This Tuesday, May 5th is #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity developed as a response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
The senselessness and cruelty of the drug war are particularly stark in this pandemic. The Drug Policy Alliance is fighting on behalf of our community members who are most at risk – including people who are incarcerated, detained, or homeless, people with substance use disorder and those that rely on access to medication-assisted treatment or medical marijuana.
We need your help to protect the health and well-being of our entire community.
Thank you for following our work, we appreciate it.
The COVID-19 pandemic reminds us that we are all human, we are all vulnerable, and we are all in this together. I urge you to make a #GivingTuesdayNow gift to the Drug Policy Alliance before midnight Tuesday. Your gift will go three times as far.

Help us save lives and achieve more successes like these:
The introduction of the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act (MORE Act) in Congress, the most comprehensive marijuana policy reform bill ever. The MORE Act would de-schedule marijuana at the federal level and begin to repair the extensive damage done by prohibition, an even higher prioirty as COVID-19 spreads rapidly through overcrowded prisons and jails.
Helping secure a landmark legal ruling in federal court that paves the way for a supervised consumption site to open in Philadelphia. With COVID-19 in our lives, the fight for health-based drug policies has never been more urgent.
Ending the criminalization of people who use drugs. In Santa Clara, CA, we took a major step toward that goal— DPA helped persuade the local District Attorney to adopt a “decline to prosecute policy.” Arresting and incarcerating people can not be the default, especially with COVID-19. Those incarcerated can not practice basic practices like social isolation or hand washing, putting their lives at risk. Drug possession should not carry a death sentence.
Our work depends on you. Please make your #GivingTuesdayNow gift today and matching funds will TRIPLE it.
