We know that so many folks are going through a challenging time right now. If you’d like to hit pause on these emails while this crisis is at its worst, just let us know here. Team, like many of you, I’m finding that under social distancing, the days are blurring together and starting to feel the same. (Hearing the Frozen 2 soundtrack for the 847th time in a week tends to reinforce that illusion.) But I took a peek at the calendar, and lo and behold: Election Day is exactly six months from today. When we launched this campaign last July, we knew it would be a long road, especially against a powerful and corrupt opponent like Mitch. And moments like this one—which happens to be just about two-thirds of the way to the finish line—are chances to take a deep breath and truly take stock of how far we’ve come and what lies ahead. We’ve leveled the playing field in the polls and in fundraising, and we’ve got a real shot at winning this. But the next few months might be the nastiest and most punishing yet. Mitch knows we’re a real threat, which means the attacks are going to get worse. The lies are going to get more outrageous. And Mitch’s powerful friends will open their checkbooks to get those lies and smears in front of as many voters as possible. The work we do in the next six months will decide how this all shakes out on November 3rd. Based on what this team has shown so far, I know what we’re capable of. But I’m under no illusions about this: It’s going to take everything we’ve got. Let's go win this thing,
