With recent polls revealing Wisconsin’s Senate race locked in a statistical tie, it’s clear that our race could decide control of the Senate in November.

Republicans know this, which is why they’re focusing all of their efforts toward defeating me.

They handpicked California megamillionaire Eric Hovde to run a campaign against me that’s self-funded by his own personal fortune. He’s already cut his campaign $13 million worth of checks this year alone.

And they didn’t stop there — a handful of dark money super PACs are plastering Wisconsin’s airwaves with ads of their own. So far, Republicans have spent a whopping total of $45 million on ads in this race.

Now, they’re unleashing a flurry of nasty attacks against me and my record. If we can’t cut through their noise and set the record straight, Hovde will continue to inch ahead in the polls and could very well flip this seat — and our Senate majority — red.
