Friend, what Kamala Harris had to say on the debate stage last week really struck a chord with me – and for more reasons than one.
You see, Kamala and I are cut from the same cloth.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, I learned firsthand – much like Kamala did – what it takes for everyday families to make it in America. And I also learned very quickly that there are bad actors who are looking for any opportunity they can find to take advantage of these hardworking folks.
It's that injustice and corruption that fuel my fight for hardworking families.
And just like Kamala, I'm committed to that same fight for New York and beyond. But it's support from this team of fearless fighters that allows me to keep going. So will you donate toward my critical $7,500 fundraising goal before midnight so that I can keep up my fight for the vulnerable and voiceless?

The similarities between Kamala and me go further than our upbringings.
We both started out as prosecutors and moved our way up to attorneys general, holding corrupt politicians and corporations accountable for their crimes.
And in all our years of service, our commitment has always been to the people.
It's the people who make this country great and who power our pursuit of justice – and I'm confident that Kamala Harris is going to fight harder than ever to take down the powerful and corrupt. But if she's going to get the job done, she's going to need folks like me and you fighting by her side in New York and around the country.
Just like I vowed when I became New York's first black woman attorney general, I promise to never waver in my fight against malicious magnates and underhanded organizations.
But I can't do it alone – that's why I need fearless fighters like you, friend, to help me reach my $7,500 goal. Please, donate $5 or more before midnight so that I can continue to hold the powerful and corrupt accountable.
