Dear Middle-High School Students, Faculty, and Administration,

In celebration of National Coding Week, my office will host our first "Hackathon." This event will be open to all Middle and High School students within our district. Our student app creators will work in small groups to create apps that solve local problems while honing their creative problem-solving skills. We invite students to participate in this years Hackathon to showcase their coding and critical thinking skills in the STEM/STEAM field.

All apps will be evaluated by a qualified IT professional and will provide general feedback. Students are encouraged  to submit their projects for the 2024 Congressional App Challenge.

We are excited to provide a space for our students to shine academically while building needed technical skills for the 21st century.
