Dear A.,
Hezbollah terrorists across Lebanon were hit by a second wave of exploding devices today in what is
[link removed]
considered an "unprecedented" operation in both size and scale.
"I cannot find a similar intelligence/military operation with such secrecy, lethality, ingenuity, audacity, impact," West Point’s top urban warfare expert, John Spencer,

said .
Today, walkie-talkies used by the terror group simultaneously blew up, killing at least 14 and injuring more than 450 terrorists. There are also

reports of other Hezbollah devices exploding, including phones, energy systems and fingerprint-reading devices used by the group.

This latest incident comes just the day after Hezbollah’s pagers similarly exploded, killing and injuring thousands more, including Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon.
Israeli sources

estimate that "many dozens…if not more" Hezbollah terrorists have been killed in the explosions, causing "significant harm" to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit, which has lost much of its leadership.
Israel has not claimed responsibility for either round of explosions, though Hezbollah and Iran are blaming Israel and have promised to respond.
Backed by Iran, Hezbollah is the most powerful terrorist army in the world. Hezbollah has fired more than 8,500 rockets at Israel in the last year — killing dozens of Israelis, including 12 children.
America must ensure Israel has the offensive and defensive weapons needed to deter, defend against, and confront Hezbollah and Iran's other terror proxies.
War in a New Phase
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said today at an air base in northern Israel, "The center of gravity is shifting to the north. This means that we are moving forces, resources and energy to the north. I estimate that we are at the start of a new phase in this war."
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi added today, "We are very determined to create the security conditions that will bring the residents [of the north] back to their homes, to the towns, with a high level of security, and we are ready to do whatever is required to enable this."
Oppose Bernie Sanders’ new anti-Israel resolution to stop weapons to Israel
Today, Senator Bernie Sanders announced a new

resolution to block vital weapons shipments to Israel.
Speaking on the Senate floor, Sanders blasted Israel’s conduct during the war, accused President Biden of breaking the law by selling our ally weapons, and claimed Israel alone is responsible for there not being a hostage deal.
This dangerous resolution is meant to erode Israel's security, undermine the U.S.-Israel alliance, and weaken America and our ally.
As Iran and its proxies attack Israel, Sanders wants to leave it vulnerable and alone.
ACTION NEEDED: Urge Congress to reject this dangerous resolution.

U.N. General Assembly passes anti-Israel resolution
Also today, the U.N. General Assembly passed a Palestinian resolution calling for sanctions and an arms embargo against Israel. The resolution doesn’t mention Hamas, the October 7 massacre, or the 101 remaining hostages in Gaza, and it demands Israel leave east Jerusalem — including the Western Wall — within 12 months.
124 countries supported the resolution, 14 opposed it, and 43 abstained. In addition to Israel, the resolution was opposed by Argentina, the Czech Republic, Fiji, Hungary, Malawi, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Tonga, Tuvalu, and the United States.
