John, we're coming up on an important milestone.
11:59pm on September 30th is our final FEC fundraising deadline before Election Day. After that, everything Pramila’s campaign has raised up to this point (along with everything all federal campaigns have raised) will be made public.
Once that happens, Republicans, journalists, super PACs, and everyone else will be combing through those reports to see how strong each campaign really is. And on top of that, we’ll only have a few short weeks left to reach all the voters we need.
That’s why it’s crucial that we make sure the strength of our progressive movement is reflected in our fundraising numbers after the end-of-quarter deadline.
For September, we set a goal of raising $34,000 through emails like this one. Right now we’re about halfway to that goal — can you pitch in $3 today to help us make sure we reach it?
Pramila doesn’t take corporate PAC money. When she was first elected to Congress, she was one of just four candidates for whom that was true. Instead, she relies on grassroots donations to build a campaign by and for the people.
