John,

Our team recently discovered these shockingly dishonest campaign materials from my opponent, Jimmy Gomez.

On this door hanger, Jimmy claims to take NO corporate PAC money, yet the facts tell a very different story.

A graphic featuring images of Jimmy Gomez’s campaign door hanger with a red circle around one set of bullet points. At the top is a larger view of that section with a red arrow pointing to the line that reads: “He refuses to take campaign money from corporate PACs.” Beneath that are screenshots from Jimmy Gomez’s record on ActBlue showing he’s taken nearly $700,000 in PAC money, most of it from corporate PACs, in the current cycle alone.

According to Open Secrets, Jimmy has taken nearly $700,000 in PAC donations in the 2024 cycle alone, the majority of which came from corporate PACs representing industries like real estate developers, the insurance lobby, and Wall Street.

These are the same industries driving up the cost of housing, denying people access to affordable healthcare, and prioritizing corporate profits over the needs of working families.

Since Jimmy won’t give voters the honesty you deserve, let’s take a closer look at the corporate interests bankrolling his campaign.

Real estate developers have fueled the housing crisis in Los Angeles, making it nearly impossible for working people to afford a place to live.

Meanwhile, insurance companies continue to profit while families struggle to pay their medical bills.

Wall Street’s influence keeps wages low and allows the cost of living to skyrocket, leaving regular people to carry the burden.

If Jimmy won’t tell the truth about where he’s getting his campaign funding, how can we be sure he’s voting for US?

We can’t. That’s why our campaign that puts people first continues to gain traction. But we need your help to reach our $100K goal to talk to EVERY VOTER before early voting begins October 7th.

Days left until Early Voting:

This is the kind of dishonesty that keeps our community stuck in the same broken economic system.

While Jimmy cosplays as a progressive champion, he is actively backed by the very forces that are hurting the people of CA-34.

Aren’t we tired of Democrats who say one thing but do another?

It’s insulting to the working people of our district to be fed these empty promises while corporations continue to call the shots behind the scenes.

We’re building something different.

Our campaign is people-powered, rooted in co-governance, and we refuse to take money from the corporations responsible for these problems.

We believe in a different kind of politics—one that centers on real action and accountability, not just empty gestures.

In our campaign, we’ve built our platform by listening to the people of CA-34.

We’re fighting for healthcare as a human right, affordable housing, and an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.

With your support, we can bring this vision to Washington and put power back into the hands of the people.

Your contribution today helps ensure we have the resources to fight back against corporate influence and bring real leadership to Washington. Contribute now and let’s make it happen.

It’s time for us,

David Kim
