Folks, we want to talk about abortion.
The right to choose is a key aspect of quality health care. Every single time it’s on the ballot, Americans agree – women must have the right to make choices about their own bodies. Just look at California, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Vermont, and Ohio – all of them voted directly to protect abortion rights.
It’s clear that women across the nation want the freedom to choose.
Look, we know you’re hearing a lot about the battle for reproductive freedom. Trump recently pledged “to be great for women and their reproductive rights.” We want to take a moment to clear the air about the reality of this battle.
A Republican Senate majority = an abortion ban.
A Democratic Senate majority = codifying Roe into law.
It’s really that simple. Democrats are listening to the will of voters and standing up for a woman’s right to access abortion. Regardless of what the GOP presidential nominee says, Republicans are throwing your wishes out the window.
