I spent National Voter Registration Day knocking on doors for Kamala Harris, meeting with dedicated organizers and students working to get out the vote, and speaking at a Climate Voters for Harris event at the University of Michigan.

One encounter in particular moved me deeply. As I approached a home in Ann Arbor, a woman answered the door. The surprise on her face turned into a warm embrace as we shared a heartfelt moment about the importance of this election.

I loved sharing with her why I’m doing everything I can to get Kamala Harris and Tim Walz elected.
