Today I challenged Monica De La Cruz to a debate.
South Texas families deserve a conversation about the direction of this country and what Congress can do to make life better for our community. That’s why I’m challenging my opponent Monica De La Cruz to two debates — one in English y uno en español.
Voters right here in TX-15 need to know where the candidates stand on the issues that matter to them. And unlike my MAGA extremist opponent, I have concrete plans to deliver for this community — not her self interests.
South Texas sent Monica to Congress to get things done — instead, she’s playing politics as usual, the reason why we have the least productive Congress in American history.
In 2022, she was a no-show. In 2024, I hope to see her on the debate stage.
Enough with the hiding, Monica. She’s so afraid that voters will find out about her support of the most extreme abortion bans — or that she’d rather give tax cuts to millionaires like herself while simultaneously cutting our seniors’ social security and Medicare.
