In honor of National Voter Registration Day yesterday, I’m reaching out to invite you to an exclusive virtual advocacy briefing next week.
We’re joining the Voter Education Coalition, Data for Social Good, and advocates on Wednesday, September 25, for a briefing on how to close California’s voter participation gap.
Research like this is critical to understanding the concrete steps we need to take in order to create a truly representative democracy here in California.
Thinking of tuning in next week? RSVP here to let us know.

This invite-only briefing will feature pivotal research and policy recommendations designed to empower communities across the state. We’ve identified the 10 counties that could best benefit from targeted voter education and outreach, alongside a strategy for bringing in more than 7 million Californians into the electorate.
Here are just a few things we’ll cover on the call:
*Current voter participation and registration gaps in California
*2020 Presidential Election data across all 58 counties
*Key demographics and underperforming counties, plus voter education budget data and a funding formula to better invest in hard-to-reach voters
The more informed you are, the more you can do to effect change. This research strives to assist policymakers with data-driven strategies, empower communities to develop localized voter education and outreach programs, and cultivate new lifelong voters.
Sign up to attend our invite-only virtual briefing call next week, “Addressing the California Voter Participation Gap.”
