My roots are here in Northwest Ohio — in more ways than one. I still live in the same house I grew up in. People from all over the neighborhood recognize it, because they've helped me set up a neighborhood garden in my yard

Together, we grow tomatoes and herbs, contributing our time and energy to grow something great for our whole community.

Our work in Congress isn't so different, friend. It's rooted in our community, in the relationships I've made over four decades of public service.

I'll never stop fighting for good paying jobs, affordable health care, clean air and water, and a brighter future for Northwest Ohio — because this is my home too.

That work has brought hundreds of millions of dollars in federal investments back to Northwest Ohio. Together, we're rebuilding our infrastructure, supercharging our manufacturing industries, protecting our Great Lakes environment, and raising wages for working people.

But now, the extremist Republicans and their special interest allies want to undo all of the progress we've made. They're trying to buy this seat and send a corporate puppet to Congress instead.
