When the U.S. House of Representatives decided to work remotely this week
and Donald Trump told the members to "enjoy their vacation," Katie Porter
had a simple retort on MSNBC.(1)

"I'm working harder than ever."(2)

In fact, Katie has been fighting overtime for her constituents since the
pandemic hit the United States -- exposing Trump's corrupt, incompetent
response and using her role on the financial services committee to win
results, all while raising three children by herself.

Katie is showing the leadership America desperately needs to survive this
crisis. But she's a first-term representative in a Republican-leaning
district, and the GOP will flood her race with tens of millions of dollars
to back her opponent.

Now, in the wake of reports that the White House has wasted at least $150
million with no-bid contracts and favors to political donors, Katie is
leading the charge to uncover what happened to the rest of the $1 billion
Congress allotted for the production of vital medical supplies.(5)

Her efforts have made her the GOP's number-one target in November. She's
also earned the ire of special interests like the mega-banks her committee
oversees. They'll line up against her this fall with an avalanche of
misinformation in her Orange County district, where registered Republicans
outnumber Democrats.
