John,
Donald Trump routinely demonizes anyone who criticizes him. He scapegoats immigrants and people of color in a transparently pathetic attempt to stir up white working class rage, something he thinks will help him win in November.
Just ask the residents of Springfield, Ohio, who have had their lives turned upside down after Trump and JD Vance baselessly targeted the Haitian population there—a group of people who moved to this region to work, build lives, and pursue the American Dream (*legally* we should add), and are now persecuted because Trump eagerly repeated a false racist internet rumor at the debate with Kamala Harris.
Yet with all of Trump's vitriol, hatred, and division, Lauren Boebert still thinks that it is "Democrat rhetoric" to blame for Trump attracting mentally unstable people into his orbit. And she wants to install right wing troll Elon Musk as some sort of all-powerful oversight master instead of Congress and our national security agencies.
