We’re thrilled to announce the STOP THE BLEED® Club Program 2.0!
The Stop The Bleed Coalition has just revamped its highly successful club program to better meet the needs of today’s students, ensuring they are prepared to act in the event of a crisis. The STOP THE BLEED® Club program not only focuses on hands-on training but also includes special recognition and leadership opportunities, enhanced resources for students and schools, early access to STOP THE BLEED® news and resources, and special discounts on equipment and merchandise. The program is designed for middle and high schools as well as colleges and universities.

------------------------------------------------------------
* Student-Led Initiatives: Students can now lead their own safety campaigns, teaching their classmates and even community members how to stop life-threatening bleeds.
* Expanded Tools and Resources: Enhanced recourses, digital toolkits, and virtual support to ensure clubs are successful no matter where they are based.
* New Leadership Opportunities: STOP THE BLEED® clubs offer students opportunities to earn leadership badges, certificates, and recognition from national safety organizations, further building their college and career portfolios.

Stop the Bleed training at the Port Washington Public Library
Anton Media Group | September 12, 2024
North Hempstead Town Council Member Mariann Dalimonte is partnering with Nassau University Medical Center to host a free Stop the Bleed training session for residents at the Port Washington Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m.
Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening bleeding situations.
“Stop the Bleed trainings provide invaluable information to residents that very well might save a life,” Dalimonte said. “Whether it is fashioning a tourniquet or simply knowing how to properly put pressure on a wound, these are tools that everyday residents can have if they witness a severe injury and paramedics have not yet arrived at the scene.”
Registration for the training is required. Call 311 or 516-869-6311 to register.
