Team,

Yesterday my opponent, Senator Wicker, cast yet another vote against women’s reproductive rights. This time, his vote was against a bill protecting IVF treatment from state-level bans.

I firmly believe that every woman should have the autonomy to make her own healthcare choices, including those regarding fertility treatments like IVF.

Senator Wicker’s ongoing attacks on women’s reproductive rights, particularly his vote against legislation to secure access to IVF yesterday, demonstrate that he is disconnected from the values of women in Mississippi.

As a veteran, I also know just how important quality family planning services are to families with members serving overseas. Fertility treatments like IVF allow our military members to start healthy, happy families after their service.

The bottom line is that women throughout Mississippi are relying on leaders who will defend their right to make deeply personal healthcare decisions – not politicians who aim to impose their beliefs.

Senator Wicker’s vote yesterday exemplifies his disregard for the reproductive freedom and family planning options available to women in this state.

Mississippi deserves better.

As your next Senator, I am committed to fighting for legislation that protects reproductive rights, including access to IVF, contraceptive care, and abortion services.

Will you work with me to defeat an extreme anti-choice incumbent by contributing $20, $10, or whatever you can to our campaign today? Even $1 truly helps: [link removed]

Thank you for standing with me as we work to protect reproductive rights in every zip code. I’m truly grateful for your support!

– Ty

Frustrated by the lack of action from lawmakers on the issues facing people in Mississippi–and believing that the hard-working voters of Mississippi deserve much better–Ty Pinkins decided to run for office: the United States Senate in 2024.
