Joe is talking to voters, and our opponent is trying to build “castles” at the state capital.
JOHN,
This is Megan, Joe’s Campaign Manager. I wanted to reach out with a campaign update—and to share with you this eyebrow-raising headline about our opponent, David Gregory:
You read that right. Gregory, against the vocal opposition of local preservationists, is planning to build a series of castle-like dwellings in Jefferson City for him and his family once he wins this election. The arrogance is breathtaking, but also telling—MAGA extremists like David Gregory tend not to care about the rules, putting themselves above and before everyone else.
This is what Joe and I told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch when they asked for our comment:
“The voters get to decide who will go to Jefferson City on November 5th, not David Gregory. Perhaps he wants to find projects outside of the district to avoid explaining to voters why he believes victims of rape and incest should not have access to the health care they need.”
Joe is focused squarely on talking with voters over the next seven weeks, not building castles in Jefferson City. And that’s exactly how and why we’re going to win this election.
