We’ve made it through another week. I continue to advocate that we need to be reopening our economy AND doing our best to protect our most vulnerable. We can, and we must, do both. My staff and I are also hard at work to help our constituents access coronavirus resources with federal agencies.

For SSI and Veterans Affairs Benefit Recipients with Dependents



From the IRS: “Register by May 5 if you receive SSI or VA benefits, have qualifying children under the age of 17 and didn’t file a tax return in 2018 or 2019. We seem them on the roads, and all too often we take them for granted. But the last two months have shown us that our truck drivers are irreplaceable in our society as they keep our food and commerce supply moving across the country.
