With the pandemic still unchecked and the death count rising, and with the economy in free fall for everyone but the very wealthy and the politically well-connected, it's time for Congress to get serious about helping Americans. Congress must immediately enact legislation to bolster research & prevention, aid hospitals and healthcare workers, and provide economic relief to local governments and the 99% of our population who aren't CEOs or Republican mega-donors
In coalition with Indivisible National and seven other national organizations, ISF is calling for a People's Bailout ([link removed][UNIQID]) . We've have drafted a detailed Legislative Letter to our Members of Congress listing what we believe needs to be down NOW to support that effort. We will sent that letter to or MoC this coming Monday. We hope to have it signed by at least 50 ISF members.
