This is Tonya, Seth’s South Carolina State Director, and I just wanted to send a quick note.

Today marks 101 years that women have been serving in the United States Marine Corps. And as a retired Marine, South Carolina holds a very special place in my heart. Not just because it’s my home, but because every one of America’s daughters who decide to enlist into the Marine Corps train at South Carolina’s very own Parris Island.

I was fortunate enough to become a Marine there. Now I’m fortunate enough to be working in South Carolina on behalf of a Marine, an Iraq war veteran, and a Congressman.

I support Seth because I believe in his vision for America, and I believe in his ability to achieve that vision as president. Seth knows what I know—that being a Marine prepares you for a lifetime of service and leadership.

He’s someone who has spent his life asking himself the question, “how best can I use my time to serve others?” And I believe he’s always arrived at the right answer. He came home from four tours in Iraq and went right back into service—representing the people of the 6th district in Massachusetts.

Now, I believe Seth would make an excellent president. He’s not the frontrunner, he doesn’t have tens of millions in the bank, and he hasn’t enjoyed the political stardom of some of our opponents. But he has the substance, the experience, and the vision to be our commander in chief. And frankly, he’s got a pretty darn good team of people who believe in him who are working as hard as we can to introduce him to voters before election day.

So thank you for believing in him, too.
