John,

I want to ensure you are informed about North Carolina’s new voter identification laws as we approach early voting and Election Day!

You will be turned away from the polls or have to file a provisional ballot if you do not have an acceptable photo ID on hand. Your vote is extremely important, and we cannot take a single one for granted.

Acceptable photo IDs include:

Driver’s license
Student ID (if approved by County Board)
U.S. Passport or Passport Card
Charter school or Government employee ID
State Issued ID
Tribal Enrollment Card
Military or Veteran ID Card
Public Assistance Program ID Card

*If you are 65 years or older, an expired ID will work as long as it was un-expired on your 65th birthday*

If you do not have one of the above photo IDs, you can get a FREE NC voter photo ID Card from the County Board of Elections here: [link removed]

We are fighting tooth and nail to ensure each voter has the opportunity to cast their ballot. With only 7 weeks left until Election Day, we don’t have much time to spread the word!

So, John, will you contribute just $5 right now so we can continue our voter outreach program and inform voters about the new identification laws?
