I know that being someone who might just make history isn't enough to win.

Hi. It’s Representative Sharice Davids, and I’m writing to you on behalf of Sarah McBride.
As a former MMA fighter, I don't back down from a tough fight.
When I threw my hat in the ring to flip Kansas's 3rd congressional district in 2018, I'd never run for office before, and there had NEVER been a Native woman or openly LGBTQ+ Native American elected to Congress.
But we won that tough (and expensive) fight thanks to a surge of grassroots support from folks like you.
So when Sarah McBride told me she was running to represent Delaware in the U.S. House, even though there's NEVER been an openly trans member of Congress, I told her, "Yes, you're running! And you're going to win!"
Now, I know from running for office 4 times that being a bold fighter who might just make history isn't enough to win. You also have to raise money.
That's why I'm asking you to pitch in $5 (or whatever you can) between Sarah's campaign and mine. It takes millions to run for a House seat, and we rely on grassroots donors like you to raise the money we need to win.

I like how Sarah says, "I'm not running to be the first, I'm running to make a difference." I felt the same way whenever people asked about my identity as an LGBTQ+ Native woman on the campaign trail.
And Sarah has proven she is really good at making a difference.
In her first term in the Delaware legislature, she passed the state's landmark paid family and medical leave act — ensuring no Delawarean has to choose between paying for housing or taking care of a sick family member. She's also successfully fought for gun safety and to make Delaware a safe haven for reproductive care.
Now, we both want to pass those same pro-family, pro-women, pro-working-people policies in the House. We just need a Democratic majority to get it done.
Split a donation between our 2 campaigns to send a couple of bold fighters to the House who will champion your values each and every day.
