Sunday marked the beginning of our National Hispanic Heritage month, and today we celebrate National Voter Registration Day! We are so happy to celebrate and honor our fantastic partners doing incredible work in these spaces year round. We are grateful for you. ✊ ☀️❤️🗳️
We are also super excited to celebrate Action Builder's 5th Anniversary with our friends!! We built Action Builder hand-in-hand with organizers at the AFL-CIO and People's Action because of the need for an organizing tool that was customized to a campaign's needs, emphasizing long-term organizing and relationship building.
Action Builder exists today as that solution, described perfectly by Ray Suelzer, our lead engineer for Action Builder (and former UFCW data manager/developer), as "an organizing tool designed for effective person-to-person organizing." We have seen the power of organizing and our tools at work for unions, campaigns, and organizers all over the world — like the Minor League Baseball Players that officially unionized on September 14, 2022. As a reminder, we recommend that folks who want to get set up on Mobile Messaging for campaign work do so before Friday, September 27th. This is because it can take a week to get set up with your phone number, and we want you to have at least a month before the election to use this tool!
