Dear John,
On this date 237 years ago, our Founding Fathers signed the Constitution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Today, we observe this occasion as Constitution Day. We reflect on the importance of individual freedoms and the responsibility we have as Americans to uphold the Constitution through civic engagement.
At the George W. Bush Presidential Center, we strive to leave a lasting impact on future generations of Americans through our policy work, public programming, and museum exhibits. Our Freedom Matters special exhibit not only underscores the significance of freedom in fostering peaceful societies but also showcases how the efforts of freedom advocates have transformed the lives of millions. The exhibit features the first periodical printing of the U.S. Constitution, published in The Columbian Magazine in September of 1787. We hope you will visit the George W. Bush Presidential Museum soon to see this historic artifact.
Please join us by making a gift today in support of our museum and exhibits that shed light on important topics facing our nation and world.
