Friends, it’s Tim Kaine, writing to you with three good reasons why donating to my campaign today is the most important thing you can do to help keep the Senate and the White House blue in November: 

  1. Republicans are laser-focused on flipping Virginia red: A recent report from USA Today says Donald Trump has “reasons to be optimistic” in VA, citing our Commonwealth’s recent history of electing Republicans to statewide office.

  2. My opponent is a right-wing extremist. I know that term gets bandied about every election season, but he really is. He is a self-described MAGA supporter who wants to release and even seek compensation for convicted January 6th insurrectionists. 

  3. We’ve got a major fundraising deadline coming up in two weeks: Our final quarterly FEC filing deadline is coming up on September 30, after which all our third quarter fundraising numbers will become public. We need to file a strong report if we want to keep Trump and my opponent at bay here in VA.
