I’m proud to endorse Karen Baker’s campaign for U.S. Congress! As a retired Federal Administrative Law Judge, a nurse, and a lawyer for over 45 years, Karen is ready to fight for what Southwest Virginia needs in Washington.

Karen is the Democratic nominee for Virginia’s 9th District, and I know she’s going to be a force for positive change in Washington.

Karen’s entire career has been devoted to serving working people with the respect they deserve. Karen knows the struggles working families face every day because she has lived them – she raised her son, Sean, as a single mom for 15 years while working as a lawyer, judge, and nurse in a small rural hospital.

While in Congress, Karen will fight to level the playing field for the people of Southwest Virginia. She will work to secure good jobs and build a stronger economy for her community, ensure access to affordable housing, make child care more accessible, and support working families.
