Friends -

I want to ask you for a small favor. I'm hoping you will consider splitting a contribution between my good friend Cory Booker's campaign and mine today. It's important, so let me explain.

He's up for re-election this year, and his seat is one of the ones we must hold if we're going to flip the Senate.

Mitch McConnell and far-right groups like the NRA and the Koch super PACs are going to look to see if he's vulnerable. If they sense that he is, there's no limit to what they'll spend to beat him. So he needs our help to keep them out.

Can you split a $3 donation between our campaigns to help Cory win and make sure we flip the Senate? Your support would mean a lot to me here.

Obviously our focus right now is keeping our families and communities safe. But the current crisis has reaffirmed how much strong leadership in the U.S. Senate matters. It's made clear how important it is to have smart, compassionate, and battle-tested leaders like Cory Booker.

The Senate is a far better place because of Cory's humanity and decency. The passion for justice he brings is invaluable, and it would be devastating not to have him in the Senate.

He is one of the best fighters for working people that I know -- and an even better friend.

Our party and our country are better with Cory in the Senate. We cannot risk losing his voice in this moment. Can you help him out?

Please split a $3 donation between Cory's re-election campaign and my work to take back the Senate in November. I would not ask if this were not so important.

Thank you for all of the support you've given me and so many of our great Senate candidates. It means a lot to me to have you on this team.

Every best wish,

Chris Murphy
