NEWSFLASH: New York's landmark climate law, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, is under attack. A coalition of NY Business leaders is pressuring Governor Hochul to dial back the law's timeline and commitments, while the State Comptroller's Audit concludes it is due to lack of leadership that we aren't meeting our goals. A recent NYLPI report documents that Hochul has completely neglected the law's implementation by state agencies, she has stalled on four climate laws on her desk waiting to be signed, and she's quashed congestion pricing, the best hope for shoring up mass transit and reducing transportation emissions in NYC. ?
