About Our Speakers

Corey Bliss

A former professional dancer, Corey Bliss has more than 15 years of diverse experience in client relations and marketing, spanning the performing arts, nonprofits and fitness. Her years as a dance facilitator in an arts program for adults with severe disabilities sparked a lifelong commitment to serving marginalized populations, but her family's experiences with Alzheimer's disease is what drew Corey to Renewal Memory Partners, a homecare organization that specializes in supporting individuals living with cognitive change. As Renewal's Senior Care Director, she oversees Renewal's New York office with a focus on client services, operations and human resources. Corey graduated cum laude from Fordham University with a BFA in Dance and Communication and Media Studies minor.

Kyle Cadman

After graduating from UCLA with a BA in Theater, Kyle Cadman bounced from day job to day job while working professionally as a commercial actor. After several years juggling acting work with inflexible corporate jobs, Kyle discovered Independent Living Services, an organization designed to support individuals with Developmental Disabilities. For the last 10 years, Kyle has found immense satisfaction using skills acquired through acting, including active listening and perspective shifting, to enhance communication skills and increase community integration for the men and women served by his agency.

Anna McCarthy

Anna McCarthy, a Cambridge, MA native, earned her Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. With a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, she has worked extensively with children, women, survivors of domestic violence, undocumented families and, most recently, elderly adults. Since joining Duet - Care at Home (formerly ComForCare NYC) as a Recruiter in the winter of 2021, Anna has progressed to the role of Staffing Manager, where she now excels in thoughtfully matching clients with Companions to ensure quality care and personalized support.
