Yesterday was May 1st, International Workers Day. How did the bosses of the Alameda Health System celebrate? They posted lies on social media about the working conditions in our public hospitals. <[link removed]>

As AHS bosses tweeted this lie, workers in the ER at Highland Hospital were caring for COVID patients without the protective head covers they need to stay safe; AHS was having untrained personnel like parking lot attendants screen patients for the virus; and just 2 weeks ago, Saber Alaoui, a nurse at Highland was fired for wearing a trash bag <[link removed]> when no protective gowns were available.
