John,
Today is Constitution Day, a day to commemorate the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution.
But today, rather than celebrating the freedoms enshrined in the Constitution, we find them under attack.
Extreme Republicans would rather gut those freedoms than defend them. They’d turn their backs on basic human freedoms to support Trump's anti-democratic agenda.
John, I believe in upholding the Constitution. At 17, I first swore the oath to defend our Constitution when I entered the Naval Academy, and today that duty means standing up for our democracy against extremist attacks.
I’ll be damned if I'm going to give up on this country now. It's worth fighting for, worth defending. It won't be easy, but democracy only fails if we let it—and I can assure you: quitting isn't in our vocabulary here in western Pennsylvania.
I need your help in this fight to defend democracy from right-wing extremists. Can you pitch in to my campaign to ensure that we have the resources to fight back against my opponent, defend PA-17, and protect all our freedoms of the Constitution?
