Hi Friend, have you heard about the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)?

The program lowered the cost of Wi-Fi bills for eligible families. Through this program, Working America was actually able to help 41,000 people get $30 - $75 off their internet bill each month – but then, Congress canceled the whole thing.

That’s why Working America members across the country are speaking out to tell Congress that getting rid of the ACP was a big mistake! Will you sign this petition to tell Congress that you want to renew the ACP?

One in five households in the U.S. don’t have internet at home, according to the Home

National Telecommunications and Information Administration. That’s a huge problem!

In this day and age, internet access is a necessity for everyone. We need to be able to access the internet at home to help our kids with school, apply for jobs, receive important emails, and look up important information.

That’s why the ACP was so important. Not only did it give eligible households a discount on internet costs, but it also provided people with a one-time discount to buy a laptop, desktop, or tablet for their family.

We need more programs like this to help us cut costs – especially these days, when our wages are barely enough to get by.

Hope you join the fight,

Working America
