Good morning.

We're writing to ask you to make a $5 donation (or more if you are in a position to) to the Democratic National Committee.

Why $5? Because for the cost of a large cup of coffee, you can make a significant difference in the presidential race and races up and down the ballot this November.

We know that sounds hard to believe. But these donations add up. And it will take Democrats all across the country stepping up to make sure Democrats running for office nationwide have what it takes to overcome Republican outside spending.

So, with the polls showing incredibly close races everywhere, we have to be prepared to match and even exceed Republicans in key states all across the country as early voting begins.

If you're able, will you please make a $5 donation (or more if you can) directly to the Democratic National Committee today? It's not about how much you can give but how many people are contributing to elect Democrats this November.
