As an advocate for our youngest learners, your vote is a powerful tool for shaping the future of our communities. By participating in elections, you help ensure that policies and funding align with the needs of young children and their families.
A 2023 poll by Start Early found that support for early childhood services goes beyond party lines, with the majority of voters supporting investments in early care & learning programs. With the November election right around the corner, now is a great time to make sure that you're #voteready!
Illinois Dates to Keep in Mind:

September 26: Early voting begins at Election Authority Offices

October 8: Deadline to register to vote in-person

October 20: Online voter registration deadline

October 31: Absentee ballot request deadline

November 5: Election Day
