Be Part of the Solution

We know the importance of supporting someone who is struggling with substance use. Below are some ways you can make an impact in this area.

Take action: Supporting families through addiction

Research shows that when families are supported and equipped with effective information and strategies, they can significantly influence a loved one’s substance use. Yet, very few families impacted by addiction receive support services.

The Supporting Families Through Addiction Act would create a grant program to provide federal funding for these services, allowing organizations that provide support services to families of those with addiction to expand their service offerings and reach more people.

As part of National Recovery Month this month, we are participating in the Mobilize Recovery Day of Service, a series of public service events taking place nationally. For the Partnership's Day of Service, we are sharing our toolkit ([link removed] ..) on how you can advocate on the important issue of family support.

Key actions you can take are send a pre-written letter ([link removed] ) to your members of Congress urging them to support the bill, follow our phone script to call your members of Congress, share on social media, etc.
