(Port Orchard, WA) - From September 27 to 29, Glenwood Rd SW will be closed between SW Wildwood Rd and SW Lake Helena Rd to allow contractor crews to safely replace the existing 60-inch culvert with a fish-passable concrete box culvert.
Detour routes will be posted, and access to private driveways and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. The road will reopen to two-way traffic on September 30, but may be reduced to one-lane alternating with flagger control during work hours.
This work is part of the ongoing Glenwood Rd SW Corridor Improvement Project to resurface and widen the roadway, enhance stormwater management, and improve safety with new rumble strips.
