Hi team,

I'm just checking in to give you a quick update on our progress toward our $25,000 Defeat Cornyn Fund goal. We still have about $15,000 to raise before tomorrow night, so we need to keep up the pace if we're going to hit our target! Will you rush a donation now to help us out?

This race is already shaping up to be long and expensive -- if MJ's going to defeat Senator Cornyn, we have to meet every single one of our goals between now and November 2020. And we're relying on you to help us meet those goals since MJ's not taking any money from corporate PAC donors. John Cornyn, on the other hand, has over $9 million in the bank and a corporate-funded super PAC has raised $9 million to help him win.

While Senator Cornyn has done everything he can to serve Mitch McConnell and the special interest donors who fill his campaign coffers, MJ won't be beholden to anyone except Texans.

That means taking action to lower prescription drug costs, improve access to affordable health care, and protect our communities from climate change. But none of it will be possible without your support.

Will you donate to MJ's campaign now to help us reach our $25,000 goal to ensure we have the resources needed to defeat Senator Cornyn next November?

Thanks,
John Coady
