A few days ago, Pope Francis weighed in on the U.S. presidential race, saying that Catholic voters have to choose between "the lesser of two evils."   I forgive the Pontiff's embrace of a cliche because he is a good man, in my opinion, supremely concerned about the poor and powerless as Jesus of Nazareth was.
