This election cycle, a voter’s mailbox is a two-fer!  One: In many locations, it can be used by voters to receive and send a mail-in ballot; and Two: It can be used by advocates like us to communicate one-on-one with voters - and our partner Swing Left can help you write those letters!

Research has shown that voters may need to be contacted multiple times before they act upon information they receive. That’s why we phone, text, knock on doors, AND use the mail to communicate our message and to defend American democracy and freedoms. Each approach has its advantages and disadvantages. Letters and postcards have the advantage of one-on-one communication while also being less obtrusive to the voter. They also have the advantage of a potentially longer shelf life than a text or phone call.
