The Democrat-controlled election board in North Carolina is changing the way voter identity is verified. They are allowing students and employees of the University of North Carolina (UNC) Chapel Hill to use digital IDs to vote, which goes against state law. The Republican National Committee (RNC) and North Carolina's GOP have filed a lawsuit to stop this and ensure that the law is followed. Karen Brinson Bell, the NCSBE's Executive Director, and other board members are being challenged in this lawsuit for supporting the use of digital IDs for voting.
