As a registered nurse, Lauren understands the significant challenges patients and providers face. As IL-14’s voice in Congress, she has persisted throughout her three terms to expand access to health care for all — and that includes folks living in our rural communities.

Lauren knows that dedicated funding and resources for rural health care will address and alleviate the many disparities Illinoisians in those communities face. That’s why Lauren is working to pass her Prioritizing Rural Hospitals Act.
